Caring for Leather: A Simple Routine That Adds Years
LeatherVibeCo Studio · 21 August 2026 · 1 min read

Clean, condition, protect. A three-step routine that keeps jackets, bags and boots looking their best for decades.
Good leather is built to last a lifetime — with a little care.
Clean
Wipe away dust with a soft, dry cloth. For marks, use a slightly damp cloth and a pH-neutral leather cleaner. Never soak leather.
Condition
Every 3–6 months apply a thin layer of quality conditioner to restore natural oils. Buff gently after 20 minutes.
Protect
Use a breathable water repellent for outerwear and footwear. Store pieces on wide hangers or stuffed with tissue, away from direct sunlight and heat.
Suede and nubuck need a dedicated brush and eraser — never use cream conditioners on them.
